Boing Network
Executive Summary
Authentic. Decentralized. Optimal. Quality-Assured.
Stage: MVP / Prototype · Testnet live · SDK & CLI ready
Vision
Boing Network is an authentic, decentralized L1 blockchain built from first principles — optimized for efficiency, independent of other chains, and committed to 100% transparency and protocol-enforced quality assurance. We are building the infrastructure for a sustainable, scam-resistant DeFi ecosystem where only assets meeting defined security and compliance standards reach the chain.
The Problem
- Scam proliferation — Most chains allow any bytecode; users and protocols bear the risk of malicious or low-quality deployments.
- Network congestion — When anything and everything can be deployed, chains become clogged with low-value or spam transactions, driving up fees and degrading UX for legitimate users.
- Fragmented liquidity — Value is spread across dozens of chains; cross-chain coordination is trust-heavy and complex.
- Opaque governance — Many networks lack verifiable transparency in tokenomics, treasury, and upgrades.
- Unsustainable incentives — Reward cliffs and unchecked inflation undermine long-term viability.
Our Solution
Boing introduces protocol-enforced quality assurance — the first L1 where only deployments meeting defined rules (bytecode, security heuristics, purpose declaration) are accepted. By ensuring that not anything and everything can be deployed to the chain, our built-in QA directly reduces network congestion: the mempool and blocks stay focused on legitimate, high-quality transactions instead of spam and low-value deployments. Automation handles known cases; a community QA pool handles edge cases. We combine this with:
- QA at the infrastructure layer — Protocol-enforced filtering so only quality deployments reach the chain, reducing congestion from the start
- Native account abstraction — Gasless UX, social recovery, session keys at the protocol level
- Adaptive gas model — Dynamic pricing with predictable caps
- Cross-chain DeFi coordination — Light client verification, unified liquidity routing via boing.finance
- Phased governance — Time-locked proposals; no surprise upgrades
- Sustainable tokenomics — Uncapped supply with floor-triggered waves; no reward cliffs
Competitive Advantage
Most established L1s permit any bytecode deployment—quality checks, when they exist, live in applications or contracts, not consensus. Boing is the first L1 to enforce quality at the protocol layer. This is infrastructure, not a dApp feature. We reduce congestion and scam risk at the source.
Unique Differentiators
Protocol QA
Only quality assets on-chain. No other L1 enforces deployment standards at the protocol layer.
100% Transparency
Open design docs, public specs, auditable tokenomics. Trust through verification.
Rust + BFT
Custom VM, PoS + HotStuff BFT, libp2p networking. Built for security and performance.
Ecosystem Ready
SDK, CLI, success-based dApp incentives, decentralized automation. Developer-first.
Technical Status
- Core protocol — Consensus (HotStuff), execution (custom VM), state (Sparse Merkle), P2P (libp2p)
- Developer tools —
boing init, boing dev, boing deploy; Boing SDK (TypeScript) - Protocol QA — Automated checks (opcode whitelist, blocklist, scam patterns); community pool for edge cases
- Tokenomics — Emission curve, fee split, dApp incentive caps, floor-triggered waves
- Testnet — Bootnodes, faucet, public RPC; VibeMiner one-click validator integration
- Website & docs — boing.network; comprehensive technical documentation
Target Market
Primary: DeFi users, protocols, and validators seeking a scam-resistant L1 with transparent governance and sustainable incentives. Secondary: Developers building on a quality-assured chain.
Global DeFi TVL exceeds $50B across hundreds of chains. Millions of users and thousands of protocols face scam and congestion risk daily. We target early adopters: security-conscious protocols, validators tired of opaque ecosystems, and users burned by scams. Long-term TAM: DeFi protocols requiring compliance or quality standards that cannot achieve that on permissionless-anything chains.
Go-to-Market
- Phase 1 — Testnet: Public bootnodes, faucet, RPC. Developer docs, CLI, SDK, VibeMiner one-click validator. Incentivized testnet (2–4 weeks) rewards validators, developers, and users.
- Phase 2 — Mainnet: Security audits, formal verification. Validator bootstrap via early incentives and hardware grants (capped). Developer grants and hackathons. boing.finance integration for cross-chain swap, bridge, and liquidity routing.
- Phase 3 — Ecosystem: Success-based dApp incentives with per-dApp caps; community QA pool; governance-driven evolution. Channels: GitHub, Discord, docs, accelerator/VC outreach.
Tokenomics & Value Creation
Uncapped supply with floor-triggered waves. Initial supply fixed at mainnet launch. When circulating supply reaches a floor, new waves mint to restore balance.
Fee split: 70–80% to validators, 20–30% to treasury. At maturity, fee revenue dominates—validators and treasury earn from transactions; emissions decline (Year 1 ~8%, Year 10+ targets 1% floor or 0% if fees sufficient). dApp incentives (success-based, per-dApp capped) align developer success with adoption. Cross-chain DeFi via boing.finance captures value from swap fees and liquidity.
Validation
Technical: Core protocol implemented—consensus (HotStuff), execution (custom VM), state (Sparse Merkle), P2P (libp2p). Node runs single- and multi-node. CLI and SDK scaffold and deploy dApps. Protocol QA design includes opcode whitelist, blocklist, scam patterns. Build and tests pass; fuzz harness for primitives.
Operational: Testnet infrastructure ready—bootnodes, faucet, public RPC. Documentation supports validators and developers. boing.network live with docs, faucet, investor materials.
Market: Design aligns with user pain (scams, congestion, opacity). Six-pillar philosophy and sustainable tokenomics documented. Incentivized testnet plan defined. Next: bootnode launch, public testnet, early validator/developer feedback.
